One of the main directors of the French “New Wave” used a whole set of innovative means of expressiveness: torn installation, wandering camera, spontaneous change of angles. Now these tricks seem to be ordinary, and once caused the sincere surprise of the audience.
Due to the limited opportunities, Hodar, like other authors of the New Wave, shot in kind, and added the script along the way. So Paris of the 1960s, according to which Jean -Paul Belmondo and Jin Syberg walk in the film, is 100% genuine, without a shadow of falsehood.

This is the second film from the Richard Linkleter trilogy about two lovers. The action of each tape takes place at intervals at nine years old, and the author really measures this period every time before releasing the next picture.
