Pork shurp at home: simple recipe

Traditionally, this Middle East soup is boiled with lamb or beef. With pork shurp will come out no less tasty.

  1. Cut potatoes, pepper, carrots and pork in medium pieces, onions and tomatoes – small.

    For this soup, pork ribs are perfect.

  2. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry the meat in a few minutes so that the pieces change your color.
  3. Pour the onion and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add carrots with sweet pepper and fry 3-4 minutes.
  4. Put the tomatoes in a pan, sprinkle with zira after 2-3 minutes, add pepper peas and pour boiling water. After boiling, cook for about an hour and a half under the lid.
  5. Add potatoes and cook for another 15–20 minutes. 5 minutes before readiness, salt.
  6. Sprinkle with pork greens before serving.
